ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Dan Dwir is a Swiss-born fashion designer based in Canada, I studied at the Haute École d’Art et Design (HEAD) in Geneva and have been in the fashion industry for over a decade. With a background in bespoke tailoring and a passion for handcrafted, eco-conscious design, I launched my international ready-to-wear line, House of Dwir, in Toronto. My work challenges traditional gender norms, offering garments that embrace individuality and freedom of expression. Featured in major fashion shows, publications, and media, I also share my expertise by teaching at Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto Fashion Academy, and my own downtown studio.

ASTROGAZE
Myles Sexton Breakout Talent Award Recipient
This first of an unlimited series of Collections is inspired by the Celestial Mystic and my belief that we are all as unique as each star in the universe.
This Fall/Winter line is depicting the 12 Astrological signs. I got inspired by the colors and meaning of each sign, the collection comes together as a celestial parade towards truth. Recognition of our existence has never been more important than now; we must celebrate and be proud of our identities.
Each one of us is unique just like the stars, and we are shining together to make a brighter universe. My hope is that the we each find and recognize ourselves in one or more of these looks. To create a unity of love and respect for one another.
